MEFFE'S RESIDENCE

The Meffe residence is a study in two parts. Part one is a search for the Canadian theme, as such I used raw materials and textures, and a meandering composition. Part two is the study of a home for family and friends. Using symbolic elements and a ground floor as a landscape rather than a typical collection of rooms around a center hall plan. This meandering landscape of spaces then reach out into the natural landscape which is articulated as a series of outdoor rooms.
